ʻi ai for "there is" and "have"; the negative for both is the full ʻikai ke ʻi ai. Pick the right opener and tense.

Every item asks the same thing: How does the sentence begin? Each item shows a line of Tongan and a short row of answers to tap. Right or wrong, the drill then says why that answer is the one the grammar wants.

One from the deck: ___ haʻaku tohi. The answers offered are ʻOku ʻi ai, Naʻe ʻi ai.
